Nauts thoughts...

What's good peoples! Just wanted to keep everybody in the loop about some d_Nauts and Ant Farm happenings from ya boy Othello's perspective.

In case you thought we were sleeping- NOT! Currently the AFA is busy at work on both a full length compilation CD and mixtape CD. Look for the mixtape in the near future.

As for the Nauts, we just got word that GOT YOUR WAR will be included on a brand new album supporting the Iraq Veterans Against the War. You've read about them right here in a previous post. They are a group that we really support- soldiers who have fought in this so-called war on terror, see it for what it is and have the guts to speak out against it.

We will be performing at the Cd release in Washington DC on September 14th, so we're really looking forward to that.

Me and Nem continue to work on new material- many of you have heard THE SUSPENSE live- so look forward to more of that in the near future.

I'd love to hear from ya'll about what type of material you'd want to hear out of the AFA on the mixtape. So drop us a comment. Who should collabo with who? What kind of topics should we address? What beats do you want to hear us rock over? LET YA BOY KNOW and we'll make it happen.

Peace!

60 second review of Party Music For Pissed Off People

Review by Adam Bernard

Party Music For Pissed Off People

Never has an album been as appropriately titled as Sketch Tha Cataclysm's Party Music 4 Pissed Off People. PM4POP is exactly as advertised, socially conscious music that you can dance to. While a lot of artists have attempted to play both sides of the coin Sketch has managed to succeed where most of them have failed. Neither lyrics nor production take a backseat on PM4POP as Sketch has made sure both shine equally without letting one overtake the other at any point during the album. If you're looking for something that will make you think and will make you shake your ass at the same time pick Party Music 4 Pissed Off People up. With songs such as "The Revolution Will Not Be…" and "Betsy Ross and the Miseducation of America," you won't be disappointed.

AFA Friday Flicks: Some time off ... I'm out of gas :(

Sorry yall ... but right now I'm out of gas.

I have searched for funny and off-beat stuff for yall to check out for months now & I hope everyone has enjoyed what has been presented on Fridays. But honestly this is not what I want this AFA blog to center around. This blog is up so the fans can get to know the AFA artists a little more than on your average website.

Anyway. I'll definitely will be posting more flicks on Fridays to entertain and distract yall from the every day grind that is life ... but only when I think I have enough relevant material to present.

AFA Friday Flicks: "Read a Book" Directed by Tyree Dillihay

The following is a very funny animated short directed by, Tyree Dillihay.

There are many things I want to say about this animated short. But for now, all I want to say is that I hope to achieve a similar effect with my animation, but with a little smidgen of subtlety. The language is NSFW and you might want to cover your todler's ears if at home.

Credits:
The Animated Video for Read a Book as seen on BET.
Music by Bomani "D'Mite" Armah.
Video produced by Six Point Harness.

AFA Friday Flicks: "36 Chambers Animated Intro"

I usually check quite a few blogs durring the day and Cold Hard Flash.com is one of them. A few days ago they featured a little animated clip done by Joe Cappabianca, a 22-year old animator and illustrator living in the NYC area. Here we see his animated vision of dialogue found on the 36 Chambers Wu album. Pretty cool!

GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
